The apparent simplicity of Noir's emblematic characters is evident in the present work. Starring one of his iconic busts in profile, the artist resorts to a face of forceful and synthetic strokes that acquire greater depth through the use of a palette of expressive tonality, where the warmth and coldness of the predominant tones are no longer opposing qualities. This work, heir to his early paintings on the Berlin Wall, still retains the style of painting rapidly in the open air in a dangerous environment. Noir reacted to his surroundings and his monsters are a metaphor for the Berlin Wall, each related to his experiences or feelings of what he calls a "killing machine".

Thierry Noir is a French artist and muralist based in Berlin. He is considered the first artist to paint the Berlin Wall in the 1980s. He is known for his brightly colored paintings on large sections of the Berlin Wall and some of these original paintings can still be seen on surviving segments of the Wall in art collections and in the East Side Gallery. Noir's work and style are now considered iconic, and Noir is also considered one of the forerunners of the street art movement as a whole. He continues to create murals around the world in cities such as London, Los Angeles and Sydney. About the voice in the film Wings of Desire, in the artist's portrayal of a beggar figurine. His debut, according to the artist, is the tour of four soldiers with machine guns. Even the inhabitants of Kreuzberg oppose the recovery of the wild painting, which forced Noir to recommend it. These wall paintings become more and more extensive over the years and find increasing resonance in the art scene. In 1991, he was a guest artist at the East Side Gallery. Although the East Side Gallery is a protected monument, the restorer has worked (1993, 1996 and 1998). In 2005, the artist Noir created a "Buddy Bear" named Teddy Noir for the benefit of the Berlin Children's Aid Organization. Since 2004, he has formed projects with the German painter Christina Allzeit.
