Ramiro Fernandez's style, stark and expressive, is based on the contributions of the historical avant-garde, especially German expressionism, with which he shares a rough, primitive drawing, of marked linearity, and the direct confrontation with the viewer.

Ramiro Fernández Saus studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, and after graduating, in 1989, thanks to a grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya, he traveled to London, where he studied at Delfina Studios. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in both national and international galleries, including, for example, Estampa Gallery, Madrid, in 1996 and 2000, Helga de Alvear Gallery, Madrid, in 1997, Marisa Marimón Gallery, Orense, 1996, Long & Ryle Gallery, London, 1999 and 2001, Siboney Gallery, Santander, 2001. He has also participated in exhibitions in museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art of Madrid, in 1994 or the Museum of Art of Sabadell, in 2000.
