Painting where flowers are represented on a neutral background. This type of paintings on shell, were used of decoration especially in the 20th century, inside showcases or in an exhibitor and it was considered something exotic and original. They often allowed the support to be seen, giving rise to the typical sparkles produced by mother-of-pearl.
