Joan Raset studied architecture, although from the eighties he will focus his activity on painting. He set up his studio in Barcelona and joined the Círculo Artístico de Sant Lluc. He currently lives in Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Girona), where he combines the practice of painting with teaching, giving anatomical drawing classes at the Artistic Circle of Palamós. Throughout his career, Raset has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, both in Spain and in France, Germany and the United States, as well as participating in various international art fairs. He has also made advertising posters and has participated in the creation of didactic art books.
