Spanish painter, during his youth he worked in a restaurant attended by painters such as Bagaría, Ochoa, Pérez Duría, Rafael de Penagos father and many others, with whom he became acquainted, receiving special encouragement from Enrique Ochoa. He went to work for Germán Pérez Duría, as an assistant, and in his free time he began to draw at the Casón del Buen Retiro, a meeting place for painters and young people who were preparing to enter the San Fernando School. During his years of military service, he moved to Barcelona, and from there to Paris and Buenos Aires, where he held his first exhibition of "posters". Back in Madrid, he won four first prizes for the posters made in consecutive years for the San Isidro fairs. The year 1950 marked an important evolution in his artistic career. He visited Switzerland and Caracas, where he exhibited at the Venezuelan American Center. But Teodoro Delgado began to relegate illustration, to dedicate himself preferably to oil painting, although he continued his collaboration as an illustrator with the ABC newspaper, and illustrated an edition of The Bible and another of Don Quixote. During his last years, dedicated entirely to painting, he held numerous exhibitions, preferably in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao.
