Didier Lourenço began to be known at the beginning of the nineties, achieving in 1991 the second prize in the XXXIII contest of Young Painting of the room Parés of Barcelona. The following year he won the Talens Prize in the same contest, and also the Joan Font of Premià de Mar. He made his individual debut in 1988 in the Hemisferi Sud room in Vilassar de Dalt, Barcelona, and since then he has held personal exhibitions in galleries in Barcelona and other Catalan towns. He has also taken part in numerous group exhibitions, including the "Recontres Atlàntiques de l'Art" in Guerande (France).
