Jordi Sardà was initially formed in Barcelona, in the Academy of Fine Arts of sant Lluc, and in the Circle of Fine Arts. He later completed his studies in Madrid, at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios. His work with painters and friends Rafael Duran and Xavier Blanch would strongly influence his style, which draws from the Catalan pictorial tradition. Throughout his career he has worked on portraits, landscapes and still lifes, from a realistic point of view, tinged by the spirit and contributions of Noucentisme, although with a very personal and recognizable style. Jordi Sardà is a lover of the history of painting and especially of the Catalan Masters. Jordi Sardá worked with painters and friends Rafel Duran and Xavier Blanch. This respect is a source of inspiration and is present in the different themes he faces, as he knows how to transfer to his work the memory of tradition and at the same time the rigor of the canons of the most current painting. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, especially in the Sala Parés in Barcelona, where in 1980 he won the Young Painting Award, but also in other Spanish cities and internationally, such as the Cindyn Gallery in New York.
