Narcís Comadira i Moragriega is a poet and painter. He can also be considered a playwright, translator, journalist and literary critic. His poetry is rather classical in style, with contemplative themes and a sometimes ironic point of view. As a painter, he understands his work as an extension of poetry. His early works showed references to surrealism and pop art, as well as to his master Domènec Fita. At the end of the 1970s he abandoned the figure to begin to represent nature and architecture, specialising in a very personal landscape painting marked by realism, which in his latest works he is moving towards a synthesis of realism, where fewer and fewer elements appear in his works. He is a member of the Sant Jordi Royal Academy of Fine Arts. His works are exhibited at the Museu de Montserrat, the Museu d'Art de Girona and the Fundació Fita.
