Rafael Fuster develops a work marked by the vibration of colour and the almost abstract use of paint, which he usually applies using a palette knife. His work has been exhibited in important Spanish and foreign galleries, in Miami, New York, London and various cities in Germany and Mexico. He is mainly a landscape painter, although he is also widely known for his portraits. His public commissions include the paintings he did in 1966 for the sides of the main altar of the church of San Antonio in La Font d'En Carròs.
