Known for his paintings and illustrations, he entered the world of art at the beginning of the 50's. Years later he was linked to the textile sector, turning his pictorial work onto canvas. He used gouaches which he later printed on clothes. During the 1970s he began to work exclusively with oil painting, thus focusing his attention on his work, which he introduced to the market through several exhibitions in various galleries. His work is defined by a figurative aesthetic language, which is influenced by styles such as surrealism and magic realism. In his first stage, his work was aesthetically linked to the comic book artist Alex Raymond, although he later drew on other currents such as geometric constructivism, which he abandoned in favour of figuration.
