"Data on the seabed", Mallorca, 1987.
Mixed media (oil and collage) on canvas.

Horacio Sapere's "Datos en el fondo marino", exhibited in the first exhibition organized by the Miguel Marcos Gallery in Zaragoza, evokes the depth of the ocean with a palette of underwater colors. From the initial deep blue that suggests mystery, to the yellow tones of the sea stars that represent marine diversity. The shift to green indicates a new underwater environment. The presence of a head in the upper right corner adds intrigue and suggests human confrontation with the unknown. In short, it invites you to explore a fascinating and enigmatic underwater world.
Argentinean painter, sculptor and engraver based in Mallorca since 1974, Horacio Sapere held his first exhibition in 1975 at the Ariel gallery in Palma. Since then, he has repeated his presence in galleries of the island, both in collective and personal exhibitions. In 1980 he made the international leap and held a solo exhibition in Cairo. In 1985 he also exhibited in two galleries in Vienna, that same year he participated in ART 16'85 in Basel, and in 1986 he took part in the ARCO fair in Madrid. From these years onwards he exhibited individually in Spain, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Basel, the United States, Canada, Argentina and Portugal, also carrying out important projects in Palma, such as the "Project on fuselage of 737" at the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation (1994), which in 1995 will also be shown at the University of Ulm, in Germany. As part of group exhibitions, Sapere's work will also be present in exhibitions in Italy, Sweden, the United Kingdom and France. He is currently represented in public and private collections both in Spain and abroad.
