Self-taught, he received free classes at the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia. In 1987 he completed his training with the engraving workshops of the Escola Internacional de Gravat de Calella, Barcelona, living in the house-studio of the painter Antoni Miró for whom he produced various works. He also broadened his training by attending graphic courses and even received direct classes from engravers such as Pavel Radoulovsqui. Since 1983 Rafael Amorós has been exhibiting his work in different exhibitions, both individual and collective, both nationally and internationally. Currently, his work can be found in the collection of the National Library of Madrid, in the public space and in collections all over the world. Throughout his career Amorós has devoted himself to painting, lithography, screen printing, intaglio and even sculpture, the latter being the field in which he still dives. His style is characterised by the elegant and fluid dynamism that shapes each of his pieces.
