His training began at the Llotja School in Barcelona, where he met the critic Angel Marsa, who was the architect of his first exhibition at the "El Jardí" Gallery. From that moment on, he participated in several individual and collective exhibitions in Catalonia, but also in the rest of Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, the United States and Japan. In 1953 he participated in the First Biennial of Spanish-American Art and in 1960 he exhibited together with the painters of the group "Salón de Arte Moderno", in Petritxol street in Barcelona. His painting is influenced by great expressionist painters such as Ensor or Nolde, whose work he got to know in his numerous trips.
