The intense, lyrical and eloquent orange and violet tonality of this gouache indicates that we are in a scene at sunset. On a calm beach, a group of fishermen are heading to the shore to end a hard day's fishing. The work we present here is an example of the naturalism that the Neapolitan artist Giuseppe Delpino adopted in the medium format works in the years of definitive formation of his style.
