The following work keeps a great similarity with the production of the Malaga painter Luis Granite y Tejada. He was known, above all, for his skill in painting still lifes with floral themes (his roses are especially valued), although his work was very extensive and somewhat varied, with landscape painting as another of the main genres of his work, but with a clear approach to the aesthetic novelties brought by the pictorial avant-garde of his time.
