Disciple of Modest Urgell, Aurelio Tolosa was dedicated preferably to the painting of flowers and the landscape, besides realizing diverse designs for stained glass windows. He participated in several exhibitions held in Barcelona, competitions and group exhibitions such as those organized by the Layetanas Galleries in 1922 and 1927, and was a member of the Artistic and Literary Society of Catalonia. In addition, Antoni Clavé was initiated in his workshop of decorative and advertising painting. Currently, Aurelio Tolosa is represented in the Parliament of the Balearic Islands, as well as in various private collections.
