Jorge Castillo's main means of expression is engraving, although he alternates it with painting. He has exhibited his work internationally, and in 1970 he had a solo exhibition at the Nationalgalerie in Berlin. He has won prizes such as the International Drawing and Painting Awards of Darmstadt, the City of Pontevedra and the Cultura Viva de las Artes Plásticas. He is represented at the Guggenheim Museum in New York and the Albertina in Vienna, among many others.
