Dillon Boy, artistic name of James Dillon Wright, is an American street artist. He began to be known in 2007, as a multidisciplinary artist, designer and illustrator. He lives and works in Italy. Dillon Boy is inspired by pop culture, from superheroes to Disney movies, and works mainly with stencils and spray paint. His art has been dubbed "Pop avant-garde". He is inspired by street art and pop art artists such as Banksy and Sehpard Fairey. He has collaborated with the latter in the development of the "Hope" poster during Barack Obama's presidential campaign. The artist appeared with Shepard Fairey (aka Obey) in the Times magazine, on the occasion of Barack Obama's election as "Man of the Year" 2008.
