Throughout his career as an illustrator, Royo has worked with artists such as Antonio Altarriba, initiating a fruitful collaboration, creating series of graphic works and illustrations that were also published in magazines such as "1984", "Comix Internacional", "Rambla" and "El Víbora", even reaching the American market. With this abundant production, Royo will become a mass phenomenon, making different books such as Women, Malfic, Secrets, III Millennium, Dreams, The Prohibited Books trilogy, Evolution, Trilogy Conception I, Visions, Fantastic Art, etc..
