It belongs to the Spanish geometric abstraction, close to the group El Paso. The group of artists of El Paso, was formed in 1957, with Rafael Canogar, Pablo Serrano and Antonio Saura among its promoters, Julián Martín de Vidales was looking for, like them, a revolutionary plastic, taking into account the Spanish dramatic tradition and the direct and personal expression of each of its members, incorporating leather as a supporting material of his work, enriched by means of carvings, incisions and folds. His work is a synthesis of form and content, in a dynamic and balanced way.since 1958, he has successfully exhibited in competitions, exhibitions and contests. He has exhibited in Madrid, Valladolid and other Spanish cities. And in numerous countries such as Canada, South Africa, etc.
