Model train engine, manufactured in Germany in the 1930s, one of the iconic models of model railroading of the golden age of railroading. Bing, a brand known worldwide for its high quality toy trains, produced some of the most elaborate and detailed models of the era, and this locomotive is no exception. Made of pressed metal, with brass and chrome-plated steel details, the frame is painted black, with gold and red filleting. The model features a steam locomotive with boiler, chimney and large driving wheels. The design is functionally inspired by steam locomotives of the era, with a stylized touch to appeal to children and collector audiences.
