Lacquered metal and bakelite.
It shows wear typical of the antique.
Measurements: 24 x 23 x 13 cm.
Desk telephone manufactured in Spain by Standard Eléctrica in the 1930s or 1940s. It has a rectangular box in black lacquered metal that houses a dialing disc with a golden plate. Gold finishes also decorate the ends of the handset, while the handle is black Bakelite. It is a sumptuous design influenced by Art Deco aesthetics.
