Mother-of-pearl, engraved, gilded and silvered.

Measurements: 21 x 40 cm; 4 x 27 x 5,5 cm (case).

Elizabethan fan with mother-of-pearl wand, with gilded applications as borders and foliate motifs. The country is made of painted paper on both sides. The obverse side shows a courtyard with a gallant couple of the eighteenth century and two gardeners. On the reverse is a bucolic landscape, also in gouache.
