Pair of sconces in Louis XVI style. Spain, second half of the nineteenth century.
Gilded bronze.
Measurements: 18 x 46 x 12 cm.
Pair of sconces in gilded bronze of sculptural character and inspired by Louis XVI models. Two angels worked in round bulk seem to float while holding the lampshade, which hangs like a bud of chiseled foliage. The small feet rest on the gilded soffit decorated with medallions and flamboyant trophies.
