French jewelry box in gilded bronze, Louis XVI style and Napoleon III period. The square box, with concave entrances that energize the geometry, is finely chiseled and carved with friezes of foliage alternating with strings of ovals and moldings sogueadas. The lid is decorated with mother-of-pearl details and a medallion depicting a woman reading a love letter, accompanied by Eros. The scene is signed.
