Cross-reliquary of Caravaca in bronze, that presents the figure of Christ crucified in the center, while in the interior zone the image of the Virgin with the Child can be appreciated, that is flanked by two angels in the lateral ones. The rear area of the cross also presents ornamentation, with a chalice and religious figures in the corners of the crosspiece. The Cross of Caravaca, also known as the Cross of Lorraine and the Cross of Burgundy, is a Christian relic of Spanish origin. According to tradition, it appeared by miracle in the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, Spain, on May 3, 1232, and, because it contains fragments of the wood of Christ's cross, many miracles were attributed to it.
