4,69 gr. approx.
Double of the Bana in gold belonging to the time of Juan II, King of Castile and Leon between 1406 and 1454. With coat of arms of the order of the royal band of Castile on the obverse, and heraldic quartered shield on the reverse, with csatillos and lions rampant left uncrowned, with point below the flying buttresses of the upper castle. Legends: Johanes Dei Gracia Rex and Johanes Dei Gracia Castele Legio.
