The top on the left side is missing. One of the suspension rings is new.
Measurements: 36 x 35,5 x 13,5 cm.
Wall shelf of German manufacture, made around 1850, with a walnut wood structure supported by delicate ornamental columns made of Saxony porcelain, polychromed with low-temperature enamels, including gilded details. It has three levels, three shelves with a sinuous profile, the top two of which have large cut-outs for larger collectors' items. The mirrored back of the shelves would facilitate a full view of the pieces. The shelves are joined by four Baroque-inspired relief-worked columns with a helicoidal torso covered with delicate hand-modelled round flowers applied to the column. The two lower ones are topped by floral bouquets, also in rounded form, and the two upper ones are crowned by figures of angels of great delicacy. We can see a third angel under the central column, which appears to be flying, suspended from the intermediate shelf. The decoration is completed by two baroque corbels with floral motifs, also in porcelain.
