Carved wood table, belonging to the 20th century, whose manufacture evokes historical styles, probably inspired by European Renaissance or Baroque furniture. The table is presented as a remarkable example of the persistence of traditional ornamental languages in the artistic carpentry of the twentieth century, integrating decorative elements of the past with techniques of the time.
The structure is composed of a flat rectangular top, with a wide surface and decorated with an aged patina that accentuates its historical character. This tabletop rests on two lateral supports of robust design, formed by legs in the form of inverted brackets, richly carved with scrolls and spiral elements that refer to classical motifs, such as those seen in Corinthian capitals or in the furniture of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
