Pair of table lamps, ca. 1930.

This pair of table lamps embodies the distinctive style of the Art Deco period. The gilded and chiseled bronze shafts harmonize with the cut glass lampshades. Both parts share the palmette motif with variations, developing in dynamic intertwining. Hettier & Vincent was founded in 1920 and was first based on Rue de Turenne in Paris. In 1929, the company moved to "Place de Vosges", one of the first addresses in Paris.
