Art Deco period floor lamp, conceived in the form of an exuberant floral stem, in wrought iron, finished in an iridescent and iridescent glass shade in mauve, cerulean and pearly tones. The shaft stands on a base formed with scrolls, a motif that is repeated with variations in the openwork center.
The Muller brothers, founders of the Muller Frères glassworks in Lunéville, are French art glassmakers of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. They began working for Gallé, and later established a glass manufacture of their own in Luneville. Years later, production moved to Croismare, with the pieces being signed "Muller Croismare". The firm produced mottled glass and acid-etched cameo, mainly between 1905 and 1937.
