DESCRIPTION
Elizabethan mirror. Louis XVI style, second half of the nineteenth century.
Carved wood, with decoration in fine gold gilded plaster.
It has some flaws.
Measurements: 151 x 108,5 x 17 cm.
Elizabethan period frame, following Louis XVI models. The oval mirror is housed in a rectangular wooden frame, with projections in the four corners, and ornamented with floral bouquets and festoons worked in round bulk, made in fine gold gilded plaster. The set combines the geometry of the support with the organic proliferation of the ornamentation.
