Art Deco lamp raised on hexagonal foot with radial moldings interspersed with geometric motifs openwork. The shaft, slightly convex, is formed by slats of prismatic section that converge in an upper screen of vegetal inspiration. The latter has been manufactured using the pressed glass technique, typical of the Degué firm.

Degué, founded by David Guéron, an artist and glass industrialist of Turkish origin. He directed the Verrerie d'Art Degué, on Boulevard Malesherbes, Paris, from 1926 to 1939. In the early 1920s he produced this type of Compiègne glass works, gradually introducing Art Deco models in his designs. World War II put an end to his activity as an artistic glassmaker, and Guéron left France for the United States in 1939, during the war period.
