Chest of drawers of Carlos IV style and period, dated in the last years of the XVIII century, beginning of the XIX century. It presents a classic and refined structure, visually lightened through the rolole legs as it corresponds to a language that values the expression of simple geometry and structural clarity. Specifically, the Carlos IV chest of drawers will have some main characteristics that will be repeated in almost all the examples: simple drawers decorated with marquetry, wooden top with motifs worked in the same technique, matching the rest of the furniture; importance of geometry at the structural and ornamental level and, finally, the combination of geometric compositions with the search for contrast by combining light and dark woods.
