Gueridon type table supported on a mixtilinear profile base. From this base the three legs that adopt the form of fish heads in the inferior zone depart. The three legs have a sinuous profile with a tail in the upper zone that bends, supporting the round tabletop. The upper zone, the top, has a sober design characterized by the use of different inlaid woods that create a symmetrical pattern based on geometry and synthesized plant motifs. Thus, we are faced with a piece of furniture with a monumental structure characteristic of the Empire style, which sees its Spanish reflection in the Fernandino language. The piece exudes timeless solemnity, full of references to the classical world, but freely reinvented. This is a piece of furniture with late neoclassical roots. During the reign of Ferdinand VII, the stylistic legacy of the First French Empire was perpetuated, balancing Greco-Roman, neoclassical and Egyptian influences.
