Desk on open foot buffet made of pine wood, walnut, bone and gilded metal. Of Baroque period and style, it was a stellar period for this type of furniture in Spain. It has a prismatic structure of stretcher frame and panels. The front lid, decorated with handles and hardware on metal panels decorated with velvet, is hinged and hides a sample organized in three registers. The registers are distributed in drawers of different sizes alternating with arcades composed of bone columns. It has iron lateral handles. This type of desk is typically Spanish, and is characterized by the great richness of its interior. The most usual in this model is that it has drawers with fronts following different models, which are mixed as we see here. The sample is organized in three registers with a central chapel. The desk stands on a buffet that follows baroque models that harmonize the whole. It is a structure with helicoidal shafts and an architecturally inspired crossbeam.
