Charles X armchair; France, c. 1830.
Mahogany wood and leather upholstery.
Damaged.
Measurements: 87 x 55 x 60 cm.
Charles X style and period armchair, with mahogany wood structure and leather upholstery with padded seat and back. It has curved front and back legs, derived from the rococo cabriole, although totally different in its decoration. The arms are finished with a large curve carved with vegetal motifs.
