Arm chair; New Spain, first third of the seventeenth century.
Walnut wood and leather.
Presents faults.
Measurements: 94 x 61,5 x 52 cm.
Chair made of walnut wood with seat and back in embossed leather. This area presents a profuse decoration with synthesized vegetal elements and geometric motifs, arranged in a completely symmetrical way. The back area is more ornamented with the presence of a two-headed eagle in the center and a legend in the upper area: "Soy de Cayetano Pisaro" (I am from Cayetano Pisaro).
