Presents loss of the inner tray and wear.
Measurements: 12 x 43,5 x 28 cm.
Chest made of wood and gilded brass with a rectangular structure of simple and straight lines. In spite of the simplicity of the form, the piece stands out for its delicate ornamental design. The ornamental work of the North Indian area would reach very high levels of fineness and quality worthy of European works. The western tradition was joined by the roots and cultural inheritance of the places of work where the craftsmen displayed great talent in the execution of the works as well as in the creation of especially novel and original models and decorations.
