Syrian or Egyptian continuation of the prismatic shape. The laborious work of inlay and inlaid wood and ivory stands out. It shows a markedly baroque style, as can be seen in the taste for the contrast of materials or in the profuse use of ivory, typical of Italian baroque cabinetmaking, on a background of ebony and walnut. All its sides are ornamented with ivory inlays that form a dense floral design alternating with geometric elements. It has a hinged front lid. Inside, the front is divided into three registers, the central one with a small door. One of the drawers has space for letter openers and other writing utensils. This drawer also has a small secret. On the lid, a central star organizes a rigorously symmetrical composition around it. The handles are made of metal, in the shape of a teardrop.
