The Bible written by Johannes Gutenberg, also known as the "Bible of 42 lines" or "The Mazarin Bible", is considered the first book printed in Western Europe using movable type with each of the letters of the alphabet, being Gutenberg himself the inventor of the printing system. The facsimile edition reflects the miniature decoration of the original volumes, being one of the masterpieces made with a high quality printing and elaborated in a double-column format.
This Bible is the most famous incunabulum due to its production system by means of the printing press, starting the mass printing of texts in the West.
