Hubert Goltzius or Hubertus Goltzius, was a Renaissance painter, engraver, publisher, printer and numismatist from the Habsburg Netherlands. He was also an art dealer and antiquarian. He was a great-uncle of the engraver and painter Hendrik Goltzius, better known today. Today he is mainly recognized for his contribution to numismatics and has been called the "father of ancient numismatics".
