Facsimile edition of the illuminated manuscript preserved in the Library of El Escorial (ms. h.1.15). This manuscript currently comprises 118 folios (plus a blank, unnumbered sheet), of which the first 93 have been faithfully reproduced here, containing the First Lapidary, the most extensive and best illustrated of the four collected in the codex. The three Lapidaries not reproduced, as well as the reasons for such omission, are the object of a complete analysis in the complementary volume.
