DESCRIPTION

Bishop's cross: possibly Vatican Workshops, circa 1900.
Made in 18k yellow and white gold. Latin cross design with tri-lobed ends, with undulating vegetal motifs, adorned by oval, heptagonal and one round cut amethysts, crowning the center and adorned by a diamond, old cut, weighing ca. 0.15 ct. set in a chaton; and diamonds, rose and old cut, weighing a total of ca. 1.20 ct.
It has a flake on one side of the central round-cut amethyst and a missing rose-cut diamond.
Weight: 99.34 g
Measurements: 13,3 x 7,5 cm (front)

Provenance Don Francisco Cavero y Tormo (1882-1949), bishop of Coria (Córdoba).
