Mid-twentieth century brooch in 18k yellow gold. Signed Maison Cartier. "Moretto" design adorned with red coral, diamonds, rose-cut diamonds, pearls and enamel.

Its origin comes from Italy when the jeweler Guiolio Nardi, designed it for his marriage proposal to give his future wife a precious jewel inspired by William Shakespeare's Otello.
