Wooden lute made by the widow of Manuel Ramírez (Alhama de Aragón, 1864-Madrid, 1916), brother of José Ramírez. His training began at the hand of his own brother with whom he worked until 1891, the year in which he opened his workshop. It was then when the competition between the two brothers clouded their relationship. Manuel Ramírez achieved great fame thanks to the guitarist Andrés Segovia, who used his guitars. One of them is in the collection of the MET in New York.
