Spanish guitar made by Pascual Roch y Cia. Pascual Roch Contelles (1864-1921) was a Valencian guitarist, known for his Spanish guitar teaching manual. He was a disciple of the guitarist Tárrega and although he studied medicine, several health problems led him to the world of the guitar. He founded the guitar factory Pascual Roch y Cía, with a workshop at 17 Corona Street and a store at 146 San Vicente Street in Valencia, although he later moved to Cuba where he created a guitar and bandurria academy and school.
