Wooden mandolin signed by Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy, direct descendant of a dynasty of instrument makers. Born in Mouette in Eure, 1833, he began to work with his father, Louis Martin Thibouville, also a wind instrument maker, who had moved to Paris, where he favored the marriage of his son with Marie Marguerite Hyacinthe Lamy, managing to unite four families of important violin makers.
