Víctor Álvarez is a self-taught photographer whose passion for photography began in his youth, when he explored his surroundings with a camera in hand, motivated by the desire to capture ephemeral and authentic moments. From his early years, he was drawn to photography as a form of personal expression, although his artistic path experienced a long interval due to professional and family commitments that kept him away from the camera for approximately 20 years. Despite this hiatus, his interest in photography never completely disappeared. In maturity, Victor decided to resume his passion, and he did so with a firm determination to perfect his technique and broaden his artistic vision. To do so, he immersed himself in continuous training, attending specialized courses that allowed him to enrich his knowledge and skills. Among these, the course of Paco Morillo, a reference in contemporary photography, the portrait workshop with photographer Estela de Castro, and digital retouching courses with David Rieri stand out, which allowed him to refine his ability to work with the image in a detailed and creative way.

Today, Víctor Álvarez is recognized as a specialist in street photography, a field in which he has managed to stand out for his ability to capture the essence of the everyday and the fleeting. His style is characterized by a deep and sensitive look, which manages to immortalize intense and, at the same time, invisible moments of urban life. Through his lens, he seeks to explore the interaction between people and their environment, always with particular attention to composition, color, light and shadow.

One of the main virtues of his work is his mastery in the handling of color. Each image he creates is loaded with meaning, in which hallmarks and tonalities play an essential role in conveying the atmosphere of the scene. Lights and shadows become the protagonists of his photographs, bringing drama and emotion to his compositions, making them a unique interpretation of reality. With an attentive eye for detail and a refined technique, Víctor Álvarez has established himself as an outstanding photographer, whose work is appreciated both locally and internationally. His career, marked by perseverance and continuous learning, shows that it is never too late to take up a dream and take it to new heights.
