About his series "The Search": The mystical ecstasy or enlightenment understood as the form of expansion of consciousness in which it is integrated into the whole, appears in some religions as an experience difficult to reach and explain. In it, man feels the presence of the divine in his being, reaching a superior and profound state.

Apart from religion, Michael Hulin described another type of spontaneous mystical experience called wild mysticism where a spiritual communion with nature and a dissolution of the self are established, experiences that are born in a sudden and spontaneous way. The adjective wild is used here to refer to everything that has grown without being cultivated, tamed, controlled or dominated.

The quest addresses the disappearance of the ego through a link with the superhuman or the universe, through its interaction with nature and the silence created by their union. The inner noise fades away giving way to a deep calm where the sea and the light become its inciters.
